“We want Stawell to be a vibrant retail community and bring the retail community to life” Cr Driscoll said.
Working with the Retail Doctor, the NGSC are aiming to create a greater al fresco dining atmosphere to Stawell, as well as growing other businesses.
The project will cost $1.3 million and will require funding from the federal government.
Mr Broad said “I think (the streetscape is) a great idea”.
Cr Driscoll said he hopes it will be “enough to keep the economy moving”. Planning for the project has been ongoing for ten years.
