Twenty-two senior and five junior Stawell Angling Club members endured very windy conditions at Lake Fyans last weekend landing 53 reddies.

Even in the gusty conditions, the fishing was good.
The fish were of the smaller size although four reddies were in excess of 40 centimetres.
Darren Smith enjoyed his weekend landing eight fish for an aggregate length of 264cm.
Paul Whelan caught seven reddies to 194.5cm to take out second place from Daryl Keirls, with five reddies totalling 153.5cm.
Nathalian Shuttleworth topped the juniors with two reddies for a total length of 63.5cm, with Wilson Dowset, also with two fish, taking out second place.
Steve Fenwick won the Mitre 10 award for a reddie of 46cm.
The next club competition is at Portland on the Labor Day weekend from 7am Saturday until 10am Monday. Weigh-in will be at the rotunda opposite the hospital
