After being sent into bat first, they could manage just 68 from 30 overs.
Aradale wicketkeeper Riley Wood led the way for his side, falling agonisingly short of a century when he was stumped on 98.
Wood was able to inflict enough damage for Aradale to hold a 100 run first innings lead and have a shot at knocking Halls Gap over again.
Opening bowlers Brent Tate and Travis Horvatek claimed six and four wickets each respectively as Aradale claimed an innings and 22 runs victory.
