Bach coached the Warriors in the inaugural Deakin University Female Football League this year and originally took on the role for the second season in 2018.
He said he stepped down due to commitment concerns with the squad.
“I don’t think the girls are fair dinkum enough for me and what I expect,” he said.
Bach said he the lack of interest in pre-season led to his departure.
“The big thing we came away from the first season knowing was that the girls’ fitness had to improve and they said they wanted to work on that,” he said.

“They didn’t really show any interest early on – fitness doesn’t just improve in a month.
“The fitness aspect was the main thing for me – I wasn’t going to put in a significant amount of my time if the girls would not buy in.
“I feel sorry for the girls who were committed to the program and who were training hard and I encourage them to keep going.”
Bach said although he left the role in difficult circumstances he enjoyed his time as coach.
“I thoroughly enjoyed coaching and the way the girls were talking they thoroughly enjoyed the first season too,” he said.
The female Warriors won two games and had a draw under Bach’s tenure in 2017.
The Warriors are yet to find a replacement for Bach, with the committee to resume discussions in the new year to find a new coach.
The DUFFL season will be even bigger next year, with the competition expanding from eight to 12 teams.
