Woman injures ankle at MacKenzie Falls
Stawell SES rushed to the aid of a woman, 38, who had fallen and broken her ankle at the bottom of MacKenzie Falls on Monday.
Ambulance Victoria flew the woman to a Ballarat hospital for surgery.
Stawell SES duty officer Jenny Rooke said Parks Victoria and police were also involved in the emergency request for help.
“She’s fallen right at the bottom of the falls and then someone has ran up to call emergency services- we hope the woman recovers quickly.”
It was the second incident in three days.
