The sun was shining for the annual Regional Lawn Bowling All Abilities event held at the Stawell Bowling Club on Thursday, September 21.
People of all abilities gathered in their favourite football colours for a day of fun bowling activity.
The event is an initiative of the Access For All Abilities program to provide an opportunity for people with disabilities to get active.
The Stawell Bowling Club has become a regular host of the event.
“The club is in an ideal central regional location that is fully accessible and also has the right equipment to assist participants with limited mobility for the game of bowls,” Mallee Sports Assembly project officer Rhonda Allan said.

“Each year their volunteer members are in full support to assist with the facilitation of the event.”
The 42 participants from across Stawell, Ararat, St Arnaud, Warracknabeal and Hamilton enjoyed a barbecue lunch while participating in the bowls which had been modified to suit all players.
The ‘Jack Attack’ kits assisted the new-comers and participants with limited ability with their game.
There was also a tube device set up which also allowed people with limited movement to join in on the game.
Allan said the day was a success and is likely to run again next year.
