Stawell’s netballers were prominent at Monday night’s Wimmera Netball Association vote count, picking up multiple awards.
Michelle Beaton’s outstanding season was recognised as she finished as runner-up in the C Grade best and fairest.
Beaton polled 22 votes in 12 games to finish one vote shy of Minyip-Murtoa’s Kristin Starick.
Stawell’s Natasha reading finished fifth in the C Grade standings, also picking up the award for the most improved player.
B Grade netballer Kristy Matthews polled 18 votes to finish equal fifth and also won the encouragement award.
Lisa Fleming polled the most votes for Stawell’s A Grade side, finishing with eight to her name.
