Another round of high scoring women’s day basketball was played on Monday, with a range of players hitting the score sheet for all teams.
In the first game of the day, D.A.M Farming and The Great Western Shoppe played out a hard fought game.
Great Western took a 10-8 lead into half-time, with four players scoring points.
D.A.M fought hard in the second half but could not catch up, going down 22-18.
Bec Austin and Michelle Elvery both scored six points for Great Western, while five players scored points.
Alison Holt and Dorothy Henty both shot six points for D.A.M.
An undermanned Sneek-A-Peek team took on Ricksteel Fabrications in a tough game.
Ricksteel came away with a 44-20 victory.
Brooke McKenzie had 28 points for Ricksteel, while Emily Davis top the scoring for Sneek-A-Peek with 12 points.
Foster’s men’s and ladies wear will take on D.A.M Farming in game one next week, while The Great Western Shoppe will play Ricksteel Fabrications.
