Tim Coffey has taken out his second Wimmera Championship for 2017, dominating in the 18 hole sandscrapes championships at Serviceton. Coffey claimed the Wimmera Golf Championships in June.

Coffey is in the process of preparing for a Victoria wide competition in September.
He said the championships were a challenge to see where he was at.
“Sandscrapes are not my usual course of choice to play on,” he said.
“By challenging myself on these courses it makes me focus on other aspects of my game.”
Coffey shot a score of 72 to came away with the win, two shots clear of Shane Grover from Nhill.
Rod Gillan was next best on 75.
Stawell’s Tania Dignan won the A Grade handicap runner’s up trophy with a net score of 75.
A total of 69 players from the Wimmera took part in the day with both a ladies and men’s competition.
