The Ararat Storm will be back in action when they face the Lakers in the second semi-final on Sunday.
It will be the Storm’s first final after earning last week off by finishing in top spot.
Both teams have shown their best is very good with the teams splitting the honours one game each across their two encounters so far this year.
Storm coach Krystal Cameron said the team is ready for the challenge ahead.
“Hopefully the break has given the girls a good break and they are freshened up for a tough match,” she said.
“The girls learnt the amount of pressure they needed to apply against the Lakers in the second game which is the one we won.
“We go into the match confident but also cautious of what they are capable of when they get the game on their terms.
“They have firepower up forward and so do we, so it could be a shootout but I hope we can put pressure on them and stop that.”
Cameron has a full squad to choose from for the clash with the winner progressing straight through to the grand final.
First bounce is set for 11.05am at Sebastopol’s Marty Busch Recreation Reserve.
Storm player Ella Wood capped off her strong season with a runner-up trophy in the Ballarat Football League Youth Girls’ best and fairest awards last week.
