The Stawell Gymnastics Club will hold its annual invitational competition on Sunday, July 30.
160 boys and girls from as young as five years old will compete in the competition.
Members from around Victoria, including as far as Mildura, will compete at Stawell, with some their first time at the event.
Stawell Gymnastics Club head coach Elissa Chalmers said it is exciting to have new clubs participate.
“A few of the clubs haven’t been here before, so to have so many new faces will be great,” she said.
Chalmers said it will be the first competition for many gymnasts.
“It is very early in the competition season, so a lot of these kids haven’t competed before,” she said.
“It will be good for them to see what the standard is from around the state.”
The girls will compete in events such as the beam, bar and vault with the boys competing in a raft of events including rings and high bars.
“We are looking forward to having these clubs compete in Stawell,” Chalmers said.
