Navarre will look to break clear of the pack on the MCDFNL A Grade ladder when it plays Maldon on Saturday.
The Grasshoppers are one of five teams on 28 points in the top half of the competition.
Navarre coach Taylor Mason said the next few weeks are critical for their season.
“It is very tight in the top half of the ladder,” she said.
“We will not have an easy few weeks with really tight match ups ahead.”
The Grasshoppers have climbed the ladder to sixth place with a string of big wins in recent weeks.
“The way we have played is a bit of a confidence booster,” Mason said.
Rebbekkah Seeary-Pye has been important for Navarre’s A Grade team, stepping up from C Grade to provide accurate shooting to the team.
“Bek is playing some really good netball. Her accuracy is helping us a lot,” Mason said.
“It is really good knowing we have an incredibly accurate shooter available.”
Navarre could move into the top four this weekend depending on results from other games.
