The Grasshoppers kept Campbells Creek scoreless in the massive 28.23.191 to 0.0.0 victory.
The game was the first of the MCDFNL season for a team to finish the match scoreless.
Navarre went into the game missing coach Jayden Fowkes, key forward Ash Driscoll and in form Will Marshman but showed no signs of missing them.
Grasshoppers assistant coach Matt Newton said he was happy with how the new players to the team stood up.
“We had a few guys come up from the reserves, and they were all comfortable stepping up,” he said.
“We wanted to put in a four quarter performance which we did.
“We are in a good spot going into the back end of the season.”
Cody Driscoll took his goal tally to 55 for the season, booting eight majors in the thumping. He now leads the league for goals kicked.
