The 19th annual exhibition will take place on July 8 and 9 in the SES drill hall in Sloane Street, Stawell.
Grampian Model Railroaders exhibition manager Colin Konig said the event would feature more than 20 railway layouts and 10 traders.
“We’ve got a great exhibition coming up. We have drawn together some of Australia’s best modelers and a variety of scales,” he said.
“The modelers come from all over South Australia and Victoria.
“I would like to thank our sponsors for their support.”
The exhibition will also include layouts from a number of modelers form the region.
Entry is $10 per adult with children free, with doors open 9am to 5.30pm Saturday and 9.30am to 4pm Sunday.
About 80 per cent of the model railway displays will be making their first appearance at the event.
“We’d hope to see between 1500 and 2000 people attend,” Mr Konig said.
“It’s mainly trains but there are model cars available from the traders as well.
“Some of the displays are quite large, up to 12 metres by 4m. There are also ones that could fit on a coffee table.”
