
Navarre have continued their unbeaten start to the season, taking out a comfortable win over Newstead on Saturday.
The Grasshoppers made light work of the Kangaroos as they came away with a 3.7.25 to 14.10.94 win.
The game was nearly over by the end of the first quarter, with Navarre keeping Newstead goalless and adding five majors of their own.
The onslaught continued in the second term, Newstead adding just one goal to trail by 45 points at the main break.
The remainder of the game was a similar story, with Navarre booting three goals in each of the remaining quarters.
Newstead only managed one goal a quarter, with inaccuracy costing them.
Navarre’s Cody Driscoll was strong up forward once again kicking three majors, taking his tally to 16 goals.
Jesse Hannett was best on ground for the Grasshoppers, with Jayden Fowkes also influential.
Josh Fowkes continued his good form, named in the best players for the third week in a row.
