The Easter Saturday tradition of Fashions on the Field will continue as an important part of Ladies Day at the Stawell Gift.
The first 200 ladies through the gate will receive a free glass of Grampians Estate sparkling wine before they compete for the Billie Jo Peterson Memorial sash.
The winner of the Grampians Estate Fashions on the Field will receive $1000.
Second place will receive two pairs of Maui Jim sunglasses valued at $650 provided by Raymond Blizzard optometrist.
Third place will receive one pair of Maui Jim sunglasses valued at $325.
The best hat will also receive a $100 voucher from the Gift Hotel, while the best dressed male will win a $100 Gift Hotel voucher and a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses.
Entries for the Fashions on the Field will be accepted from 12.30pm and judging will commence at 3.45pm.
Event organiser Jone Macpherson said popular autumn wear for this season was a dress paired with a small jacket. “This look is in at the moment, but whatever suits you is best,” she said.
