Stawell Hospital Auxiliary is hosting a fundraiser to buy a new oncology chair for the Simpson ward at Stawell Regional Health.
Auxiliary members will host a wine and savoury evening at the Stawell Entertainment Centre on Friday, March 31.
Group member Ruth Hatton said they had hosted “quite a few” of these fundraisers in the past and had turned into an annual event.
“It is our goal to hopefully make the patients’ stay in hospital a little more comfortable,” she said.
The fundraising evening will start at 6.30pm and will cost $20 per person.
“The evening is always a great social event with a wine auction to follow, allowing people to bid for wine generously donated by local wineries and some individual donors,” Ms Hatton said.
