Stawell Under-13 Football Association is looking for a boost in numbers as its season fast approaches.
The junior competition is seeking more numbers and specifically more girls to play this season.
The season starts at the end of April with registrations for the competition closing on March 29.
Newly appointed secretary Kristen Ankerson said the season was getting closer and numbers appeared to be low at this point.
“We want to encourage young girls and boys to play football,” she said.
“It is a fantastic opportunity to have some fun while using it as a stepping stone from Auskick and into other junior football competitions.”
All children born in 2004-2007 are eligible to play.
