House owner Melissa Milosevic has planned a frightfully fun night of trick-or-treating, eerie decorations and a chilling funeral hall.
“Halloween happens once a year so we think it’s a good excuse to have a bit of fun and provide an entertaining night for the kids,” Ms Milosevic said.
This is the second year Ms Milosevic has prepared her haunted house and said Halloween was becoming a more popular celebration in Stawell.
“Each year we’re seeing more shops selling Halloween merchandise and I think everyone just sees the fun in it and wants to experience it that one time during the year.”
Last year Ms Milosevic sold all of her 100 lolly bags and is hoping for a similar outcome this Halloween. “The house will be open from 7-10pm, there will be a talking witch, a smoke machine and many treats for the kids.
“But I am not giving away all of the spooky surprises just yet,” she said.
