The callisthenics tiny's group (ages three to six) and the intermediate age group (13-17) performed a number of artistic dances to a large number of children, parents and staff.
Taylors Gully co-ordinator Carole Clarke said the childcare centre often hosted similar performances.
"We are really happy to have the callisthenics come and perform," she said.
"We invited them down as part of Taylors Gully's Early Years Learning framework. We try and get as many community organisations and a groups as possible down to do performances and demonstrations and we also get out and spend time at various places too."
As part of the same hands on learning program, during the coming weeks Taylors Gully has organised a Zumba presentation and a local wildlife group from Ararat that will bring along some animals for the children to get up close with.
"The main aim is to promote the children's learning and they respond well to dance performances and things like this," Ms Clark said.
"It is also a good chance for the callisthenics club to promote itself and to get our youngsters interested in perhaps joining the callisthenics club"
The Grampians Callisthenics Club also used the performance as preparation for its upcoming concert on Friday, October 19 at the Town Hall. The show will get underway at 7.30pm, with tickets available at the door.
