The duo, vocalist Ruth and guitarist Ziggy, will perform a selection of tunes to entertain guests as they bring in 2016.
The night kicks off at 8pm and will conclude shortly after midnight.
Supper will be provided and guests are encouraged to bring some nibbles to enjoy throughout the evening.
Drinks will be available at bar prices.
“We’re encouraging people to get a table together and come along for a fun night of singing and dancing,” chair of the Stawell Bowling Club social committee Julie Cass said.
“S. O. F. T. are a great band and we’ve already had a lot of interest in the night”.
Based in Ararat, both Ruth and Ziggy have been heavily involved in the music scene most of their lives, possessing great versatility and a unique style and broad range of music from past hits to the latest top 40.
They are in high demand and regularly play at functions and receptions locally and over the years have spent time on the road entertaining audiences.
Ruth is a versatile vocalist and has many years of experience performing in bands.
Her style has been influenced by many artists.
Ziggy is a true professional and a real gentleman to work with.
He contributes to the live feel of the band with his guitar playing and is a gifted musician with a comprehensive background in music.
Ziggy is able to play any style to suit an occasion.
Together, the duo put out a great sound on stage, with state-of-the-art equipment that boasts great lighting and high quality, digitally recorded backing sequences which allows for a full band sound and sensational live guitar.
The band’s adaptability and playlist has been proven to be suited to all ages.
