Therese Joyce will present the workshop, which also aims to teach kids to handle life experiences in a more productive way.
Therese is an Associate Director of the Centre for Positive Psychology at Melbourne University with a wealth of knowledge and experience. She has a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology, which is the scientific study of how to live well and be happy.
This free 90 minute session, from 6pm – 7.30pm in the multipurpose room, will introduce parents, carers and interested community members to the key concepts of Positive Psychology and Positive Education.
Stawell West has commenced working with Therese on developing students’ resilience by commencing the ‘Bounce Back!’ Wellbeing and Resilience Program.
