The service will be held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Main Street, commencing at 5pm.
Reverend Anne McKenna is inviting everyone in the community to attend the service.
“The purpose of the service is to be united in prayer for our community and for the world,” Rev. McKenna said.
“There are so many terrible things happening around the world that together, the churches will form a united voice to bring a message of unity and peace.
“People can be skeptical of churches, but often it is the place they turn to when things go wrong. Well our world is certainly going wrong and we want to pray for it.
“We are concerned for all people, for those forced from their homes, those living in turmoil and those without hope. The churches of the town worship in different places and in different ways, but the message is the same, the gospel if Good News.”
