The up and coming midcourter took control of the court in her interleague debut playing at both centre and wing attack for Mininera in their one point loss to Kyabram District Netball Association.
The game was physical and intense from start to finish with the score line staying close for the entire game.
Mininera and District were leading going into the last quarter, but a change to Kyabram's attack would turn the game on its head.
With a much taller goalie in the last quarter, Kyabram rushed the ball into their attacking half and were able to score, and score quickly.
Mininera went down in the final quarter, and with that lost the game by a nail biting one goal 40-41.
Morrow held her own and was alongside coach Steph Burns and Chelsey Smith who were the better players on the court.
The Lismore duo of Burns and Smith worked well together in the attacking end and accurate shooting from Burns was important for Mininera.
"It was an awesome experience to play with some of the best players in the league," Morrow said.
"Even though we didn't get to practice much as a team prior to game, we all seemed to gel and play well together."
Morrow is in her first season in the Mininera District League after playing all her netball at Stawell Warriors.
"This is my first season out at Great Western after playing at Stawell Warriors," Morrow said.
"I have found them to be a great club and it has given me the opportunity to play different positions on the court. I am hoping this will make me a more versatile player in the future."
Morrow learnt a lot from her experience and would jump at the chance to play again in the future.
"It was an exciting opportunity to be able to represent both Great Western and the MDNA," Morrow said.
"I would jump at the chance to be able to represent the MDNA again if given the opportunity."
