There was only a one game margin in Stawell Toyota's favour, that separated the two sides after the regulation doubles sets with the highlights being two tight tie-break sets and an 8-1 victory by Toyota's Blair Hart and Matt Freeland over Cassidy Painting's Howard Dunn and Jake Stainsby.
The first two mixed doubles sets saw Cassidy Painting winning one and Stawell Toyota winning the next, before Zac Armer put Cassidy Painting in front with his 6-3 singles victory over Aiden Graveson.
This left five sets to be played with Cassidy Painting holding a one game advantage until Stawell Toyota's Riley Adamson and Simone Grace lifted and claimed a precious 6-1 win over Paul Summers and Hayley Reading to swing the ledger back Stawell Toyota's way by four games.
Cassidy Painting then returned fire as they won two of the next three sets to again even up the scoreboard with only the number one mixed doubles set remaining, to decide the outcome of the grand final.
Stawell Toyota's Blair Hart and Debbie Hart were able to bring home the goods just as they had done the week earlier in the preliminary final.
They were under some pressure, but were able to defeat Cassidy Painting's Howard Dunn and Sue Blakey 6-2 to give Stawell Toyota a four game advantage overall and be announced premiers for the 2014/15 tennis season.
Stawell Toyota's Matt Freeland, Simone Grace and Maddi Rickard helped to secure the victory with quality tennis, while for Cassidy Painting Nathan Baker, Michael Sullivan and Zac Armer were fighting it out all the way to push the opposition to the limits.
