The event is being presented by Halls Gap Tourism, in partnership with Northern Grampians Shire Council and will be held outdoors at the Grampians Motel.
It will feature guest performers including Lisa Edwards, Michael Cristiano, Beau Woodbridge, Sally Cooper, Andy Pobjoy, Julie Walter and Humphrey B Bear.
Northern Grampians Shire Mayor, Cr Murray Emerson said the Halls Gap community was excited to be hosting such a huge event.
"Events like this aren't often held in small communities and we are extremely lucky to be welcoming performers of this calibre to our shire," he said.
"We are expecting large crowds from right across Victoria for a fantastic night of family fun which is sure to get our communities into the Christmas spirit."
Funding has been provided by the Victorian Government through the 2014 Bushfire Economic Recovery funds to help establish events in the Grampians.
Halls Gap Tourism secretary Stephen Odgers said that if the event is successful, he hoped it could become a regular highlight on the Grampians events calendar.
"Although we are starting big, we think that this can get even get bigger," he said.
"With community support we would love to provide an annual Christmas extravaganza as good as anything hosted in the main cities."
A pre-show will commence at 6.30pm and will feature local acts including primary school choirs, the Pomonal Singers and the Stawell Performing Arts Company.
Denis Walter and his team will take to the stage at 8pm, with a special appearance from Santa among the highlights.
Cr Emerson said Halls Gap would provide the perfect backdrop to the festivities.
"What better place to enjoy Christmas carols than surrounded by the beautiful Grampians," he said.
"We hope to see as many people as possible come along to the Grampians Motel for what is sure to be one of the events of the year."
Those attending will be able to access free parking next door to the venue. The night is alcohol free and food and drink will be available.
