Terry and Karina O'Sullivan had horses featuring in every race and were the first to salute, taking out the opening event of the program.
The Brix Hotel Three Year Old Maiden Plate was won by Amity Val, with Jack Hill on board to start the day in style.
Hill was again a winner in the final race of the day when O'Sullivan galloper Already Taken hit the line strongly to hold off Happy Valentine.
Trainer Doug Whitworth celebrated a win with Dante's Finale proving too good for the rest of the field in the National Hotel Maiden Plate.
The Stawell Racing Club was delighted with the attendance at the meeting on Saturday.
