The students and their parents went to a great deal of effort preparing the costumes for the parade.
There were a number of girls dressed as Queen Elsa from the hit movie Frozen, while plenty of superheroes, fairies, the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, a number of Little Red Riding Hoods and several witches and warlocks from Harry Potter took part in the parade.
Robin Hood, a Lego policeman, a gladiator and even some girls dressed as Pippi Longstocking made an appearance.
The parade was conducted in front of a large gathering in the multi-purpose room. The crowd was swelled by the many grandparents who turned out, as the event doubled as a special grandparents day.
Following the parade, students were able to take their grandparents in to their classrooms to read books to them and enjoy a number of other activities together.
