The young delicatessen staff member transformed her department into a shade of pink.
"This month I decided to surprise my mum, well not only my mum but myself as well," she said.
Staff donned pink clothes and there were breast cancer cookies, ribbons and games for young children including a chance to guess how many jelly beans were in a jar.
Customers were also encouraged to place a small donation in the tins that lined the deli counter.
Claire said she hopes the $1166.70 she raised last week will go towards vital research to find a cure.
"So we can find a cure for this horrible illness, those who are suffering my heart goes out to you and I hope I make my nan proud," she said.
