He took over the leadership position from retiring president Scott Fletcher.
Other office bearers inducted were, vice president, Malcolm Hooper, secretary Iain Maclean and treasurer Gary Withers.
At the changeover dinner retiring president Scott Fletcher reported on the many events and functions the club is involved in.
These ranged from Youth of the Year and the Christmas Lights competition to the Driver Reviver program that is conducted over long weekends.
Other services provided by the club included acting as guides through the middle of town for the Murray to Moyne riders and helping with Meals on Wheels.
The club's major fundraiser for the year, the Easter Carnival was another success as was the annual Lions Christmas cake sale.
The club was also involved in manning the gates at football matches and at the Stawell Show.
In the annual report the many businesses that support the club were thanked. Many of the community services the club undertakes would not be possible without this support.
Incoming president, Ray Graham said he was looking forward to working with members to continue the Stawell Lions Club's record of service.
