Northern Grampians Shire Councillors are united in their support of efforts to turn the vision of the Grampians Peaks Trail Project into a reality, sooner rather than later.

The Grampians Peaks Trail is a 13 day/12 night walk currently under development to provide visitors with a direct, world class experience of the peaks and panoramic views of the Grampians National Park.

-Friends of Big Hill are determined to stop the sun from setting on one of Stawell's most beloved landmarks - Big Hill.

In a show of support for the icon a sunset celebration of Big Hill will take place on Sunday, June 1 at 4pm.

What's on:  Stawell Hospital Ladies Auxiliary will be hosting their casserole luncheon Friday.

The luncheon is being held at the Stawell Entertainment Centre from 12 noon.

Cost is $15 per person and this includes tea/coffee and a slice, as well as the casserole luncheon.
