Once again, a virtual avalanche of pre-loved books and magazines, intriguing and tempting plants of many varieties, especially natives, as well as heritage seed varieties, will be available.
There will be fresh local fruit and vegetables, a huge amount of bric a brac, pre-loved and new children's toys and clothes and glorious porcelain, glass and silver items from around the world.
Stallholders like Pam and Neil who were away over Easter will be back, so if you're after your fix of delicious salamis or sausage, you're in luck.
There'll be tasty homemade biscuits, slices, nut loaves, fudge and toffees, honey, jams and jellies, carrot cake, sausage rolls and mini pizzas, to tempt your tastebuds.
There'll be soft floaty silk scarves and shawls, beautifully knitted toys, pot pourri, handspun yarns, fleece, shawls, scarves and beanies, exquisite costume and antique jewellery pieces, pre-loved CDs, tapes and collectable records, charcoal drawings and portraits, and what seems like a million other items for sale at reasonable prices.
The Hall Committee of Management will stage their delicious sausage sizzle so why not do your bit for the hall and enjoy a tasty sausage!
Tanya and Jacqui will also be in the kitchen providing their delicious morning and afternoon teas, including Devonshire teas, as well as soup, sandwiches and sausage rolls. What better way to have lunch, than by a gorgeous open fire.
As well, there will be a mind-blowing display of costume jewellery and watches presented by relative newcomers, Deb and Dave. Deb makes much of the jewellery herself: lots to take in here! There are beautiful, dazzling pendants, bracelets and all sorts of lovely bling to gladden your heart. They'll be beside the entrance gate. Come and meet them.
Finally, during the Easter market, a generous trailer-load of firewood was raffled. The winner was Bruce Downie of Halls Gap. He will be happy not to have to cut wood just yet! We're pleased to announce that this popular raffle raised the tidy sum of $460.
