The highlight of the evening was awarding the trophy for the male and female athletes who had achieved the most personal best performances for the season.
In both cases it was under six athletes in their first year of competition who took out the awards.
For the girls section it was Clara Thompson who was the clear winner with 27 PBs.
Runner-up to Thompson was Sophie Hutton with 21PBs and third was last year's champion Hayley Little with 21PBs.
In the boys section brothers Riley and Noah Keith tied for third place with 19PBs, runner-up was Ashley Hutton on 21PBs.
Archie Rooke took out the boys champion's trophy with 23PBs for the season.
Both Rooke and Thompson will now proudly have their names recorded perpetually on the Ryan Ellis Shield and given their young age, have a chance to see it there again in future seasons.
Long serving athletes Sarah Little, Lochie Rickard, Kasey Bibby-Rickard, Keenan Vincent, Isabella Simmons, Beau Simmons and Jack Simmons were presented with certificates provided by Little Athletics Victoria for their seven years of service.
Thirty-five athletes in total received trophies for meeting the participation requirements of little athletics for the season.
Stawell Little Athletics gratefully acknowledged the support of Stawell Regional Health, Frewstal Pty Ltd, Stawell McDonalds, the Stawell Secondary College and the Northern Grampians Shire Council, thanking them for their contribution to the season past.
Earlier in the evening the club held its annual general meeting.
A new committee and executive was elected and preparations will soon commence for the 2014-15 season later in the year on the newly refurbished North Park athletics track.
