Volunteers will be posted at two locations in central Stawell over the next four days.
The collection drive will begin tomorrow outside Woolworths, before members move to rattling their tins for the annual appeal to outside Amcal Pharmacy on Thursday.
They will return to Woolworths on Friday and Amcal Pharmacy on Saturday morning.
Geraldine Monaghan said 2014 will be a big year for the organisation as it celebrates the centenary of the establishment of the Red Cross in Australia.
"Throughout this year, you will hear about many exciting events happening at a local, state and national level to celebrate, and to raise community awareness of the work of Red Cross currently, and over the last 100 years," she said.
"Given this centenary year, we hope that our wonderful community will continue to support the March Appeal by giving generously to enable Red Cross to continue its work, both locally and internationally."
