The successful outing included a double each to Linda Meech and Nikita Beriman, the latter piloting both her horses home for Stawell trainers Terry and Karina O'Sullivan.
Beriman won aboard Clear Direction in the Stawell Bi-Rite Benchmark 70 Handicap and Fresnel in the Stawell Windows and Glass Maiden Plate.
Linda Meech did not have to wait long for her first win of the day, guiding Kelvy to victory in the Panasonic Maiden Plate over 1100 metres.
The John Castleman trained four year old hit the ground running and was taken straight to the front by Meech, where he remained.
Kelvy, which had been placed at his previous four starts, including an impressive second at Moonee Valley, was overdue for a win and greeted the judge by one and a half lengths from Ben's Way, with Rich River a further length away third.
Meech brought up her winning double in the very next race, the Grampians Excavations 0-58 Handicap, with Ethicist landing a big plunge to greet the judge.
Backed in from $7 to $4.80, Ethicist was not expected to lead, but Meech took the option given the slow pace early. Once in front, the five year old was always going to prove hard to run down.
Meech hugged the inside with Ethicist in the run to the judge and the gelding responded, winning by half a length from Manihi Rocks, with Darwin George one and a half lengths away third.
Holly McKechnie managed to bring up a winner on the Christmas Race Day, guiding Wizza's Magic to victory in the Stawell Farm Supplies 0-58 Handicap.
The four year old came from well back on the home turn and finished with a burst to claim the 2000 metre event by a half length from another fast finishing galloper, Divi Filius.
Rounding out the day of success for the girls was young apprentice Lily Coombe, who saluted aboard Choisance in the Stawell Gold Mines Benchmark 64 Handicap.
The only race not taken out by a female jockey on Saturday was the Solarspec Three Year Old Maiden Plate, with Dean Holland guiding Young Tigers Journey to victory.
