Stawell Secondary College principal Colin Axup, said he was proud of every year 12 student and their results were a reflection of the hard work that they had put in.
"Everybody achieved their VCE which is great," Mr Axup said.
Mr Axup emphasised their success was not purely based on their ATAR score and that their actual success was based on whether they achieved the results they required for further studies.
"An ATAR is a number that exists for a total of four weeks until they get to where they need to be. That is their true mark," Mr Axup said.
One student who was extremely happy with her VCE result was Bethany Griffiths. Bethany, who admitted she had a reasonably stressful year, said she was trying not to think too much about what was ahead. She said she would wait for her university placements and go from there.
In 2013 Bethany studied English, Legal Studies, German, Health and Human Development, Math Methods and as a year 11 student completed Psychology.
Bethany was also the recipient of the Stawell Secondary College Dux award at the school's presentation night.
Other students that were excited with the prospect of finishing secondary school and returning to their normal life were Ellen Williams and Lucy Pollock.
Ellen is hopeful that her ATAR score will be enough to see her go down her desired pathway into the Allied Health area.
"My dream job would be to be a Physiotherapist," she said.
Ellen is also waiting for University placements before she makes any decisions regarding her future.
Lucy on the other hand is looking at entering a course in Health and Physical Education.
"Uni at Deakin next year maybe, at Waurnponds campus. I want to teach Physical Education at a secondary level," Lucy said.
Kimberly Hyslop and Kirsten Hines are also looking at continuing with higher education after a successful VCE year.
