Thanks to Stawell Tuition and the Stawell Library, Cato Park will be home to a book drop with books for all ages to be scattered throughout the gardens.
Stawell Tuition owner Helena Grobbelaar said the aim of the program was to promote reading in children of all ages in Stawell.
"It all started as a 'well-being Wednesday' project during lockdown," Mrs Grobbelaar said.
"Lenka and I thought of some ideas to inspire kids to read and decided to do a book drop, where kids look for the books at Cato Lake.

Mrs Grobbelaar said she hoped the initiaive helped engaged children and it would encourage them to read more.
Mrs Grobbelaar said the book drop will happen on Friday, November 5 with the books to be hidden in Cato Park on the day.
"It's just a little bit of fun to help kids to enjoy reading and to share their love of reading," she said.
"It's such an important skill that parents can help their kids with from a very young age.
"Stawell Tuition has sponsored books and the library has kindly donated preloved books.
"When you find a book, let us know you found it by posting a picture on Stawell Tuition's Facebook page. Happy hunting."
