This is my first season. I moved to Stawell at the start of 2020, but there was no sport because of COVID-19, so this year some people from work said come down and have a go and it's been really great.
I was really nervous because I had only played when I was a kid. But everyone was super-welcoming and really supportive as well which has been really great.
Q. Who do you see as your toughest opponent and why?
We played against Minyip-Murtoa and going in we did have a lot of doubts, but we actually played really well and our very first game was against Nhill and it was very tough.
I think they had a lot of strong players who had previously played A Grade and they looked like they knew exactly what they were doing.

Q. What makes you get out of bed on those days where it's not likely to reach 10 degrees and hasn't stopped raining in days?
I really like cheering everyone on from the sidelines.
I like to get down there, be social and I guess that's why I was attracted to netball in the first place.
It's to make some new friends and have some fun.
Q. Who do you rate the most around the club?
Tracey Dark. She is an amazing player and I can't believe she has been playing for so long.
She is involved with not just playing at the club as well.
She is very passionate about the game and playing games of netball as well.
Q. What is the greatest piece of advice you have received as a player?
I think just to get out there and give it a go, it is about having fun so just give it a go.
