And for the Stawell Uniting Church the past few months have created ideal conditions for their community garden to serve up greens of all varieties.
Stawell Uniting Church member, Geoff Harmer has been one of the brains behind the patch, with his work keeping the community garden alive and well since it began in 2017.

The community garden launched as an 'Eat my Street' garden with the Stawell Uniting Church commending the work of Mr Harmer.
The church said Mr Harmer has been working all year round to provide fresh and free herbs and vegetables, as he continues to delight and surprise many with produce from the garden.
Stawell Uniting Church established the garden for all to benefit from with fresh produce available throughout the year.
People living alone, families and others have all benefitted from the garden and his work, including during COVID.
