Emergency services have attended the scene of a car fire in Concongella after an alarm was raised earlier in September.

At around 7pm on September 23, emergency services were called to the scene of a car fire on Salt Creek Road, Concongella.
Stawell Police and Stawell CFA attended the scene and upon arrival found the car fully engulfed with the fire spreading to the grass on the side of the road.

The fire was extinguished by multiple CFA units who managed to stop the spread before the fire jumped across onto a property nearby.
The vehicle had no identifying features or number plates.
Emergency services believe it is was a blue VW sedan.

Stawell Police said a witness in the area described a black SUV vehicle leaving the vicinity of the fire around the time, however they are unaware of further details at this stage.
Police are seeking assistance from the community with this investigation.
