The budding swimmers will try their hands at a variety of races across a range of distances, including relay races.
They will compete against the best primary school aged swimmers in Western Victoria from schools in Ballarat, Horsham and across the region.
Stawell Stingrays head swimming coach Bayley Dignan said it is great to see a number of juniors he has mentored taking these opportunities with their schools.
“It is just a fantastic chance for them to experience an even higher level of swimming,” he said.
“I’m sure they will learn a lot and really enjoy themselves. “It is carnivals like these where we can really grow the sport in the region.”
