The competition kicked off with a triples event, before moving onto pairs.
The carnival concluded with a mixed fours event last Thursday with 48 players competing.
Players from Horsham, Ararat, Lake Bolac, Landsborough as far as Melbourne made the most of the mild conditions in a strong display of bowls.
Jack Phillips, John McIlvride, Pat Prins, Les Montgomery were the winners of the coveted mixed fours competition.
Stawell Golf Bowls Club secretary Michael Habben said it was a good few days of bowls.
“Entries over the three days were good and on par with last year,” he said.
“The quality of bowls was quite good and everyone absolutely enjoyed themselves.
“It was a very social occasion with afternoon tea and drinks after all the games. It was all played in good spirit.”
The carnival is one of two big events for the club in the year, with the second big competition to be played in February.
Habben said the carnival is crucial to sustaining the club.
“Most of the people were local.. It was good to see a few from out of town come and play but we need to keep trying to get more from outside,” he said. “We need the revenue from events like this to keep our club running.”
Habben said the time of year of the carnival may change for next year.
“We will try and have it a week later to try and avoid people who might still be on holidays.”
