Sergeant Rob Weppner said two men were involved in a physical assault at the Great Western rodeo on Friday night.
A Stawell man, 25, was questioned by police.
He was released to appear in court at a later date.
Police also responded to an unprovoked assault at Stawell’s Gift Hotel on Friday night.
A Melbourne man, 23, was interviewed by police and will appear in court.
“Over the four days these were the only two incidents which is very pleasing,” Sergeant Weppner said.
“Crowds have been extremely well-behaved, an extra five thousand people come into Stawell which is almost another community, so it is a credit to them and the locals.”
Sergeant Weppner said police were also pleased no vehicle accidents or collisions were reported.
“We also detected no drink or drug drivers,” he said.
Additional police officers from Horsham, Ararat and St Arnaud were brought into Stawell over the Easter long weekend.
“It was a great time for everyone and we hope this good behaviour continues into future events,” Sergeant Weppner said.
