Lola Petschauer donated the piece which was on display for Eventide residents.
Eventide chief executive officer Sue Blakey said Ms Petschauer worked on one block each month with every block having an intricate array of stitching and detail.
“You find a new detail every time you sit by the wall hanging,” she said.
“Stunning handmade quilts adorn most of the beds in rooms throughout Urquhart and Warne Wings, making each room unique and identifiable at a glance.
“Fortunately a number of these quilts have also been lovingly made by Lola.”
Ms Blakey said it was lovely to see the smiles on the residents’ faces and the enjoyment the quilt displays had brought to the Eventide living residence.
“Lola Petschauer enjoys creating such beautiful stitch work, and we at Eventide Homes are very thankful to be the lucky recipients of her passion,” she said.
