It is the final step in the draft process before the AFL national draft in Sydney on November 25.
Williamson said the draft combine was an intense experience to be involved in.
"It was a pretty full on experience,” he said.
“The whole four days and what it involved is a lot different to what I’m used to.”
The four-day event involved psychometric testing, club interviews, skills testing and fitness and endurance testing.
Williamson said the tests were spaced out to allow players preparation time for each one.
“It also meant we also had a lot of down time in between the testing,” he said.
He had interviews with seven AFL clubs at the combine, including clubs from outside the state.
Williamson said additional clubs contacted him after the combine to interview him.
"I was pretty good with the questions I had from the clubs,” he said.
“There was not really any curly questions or anything like that.”
The former Ararat Rats player said he achieved better results than he had expected in most tests.
"I probably exceeded what I was hoping to do in the physical testing,” he said.
He said it was a great experience to get out and perform in front of all the different clubs.
"I just enjoyed getting out onto Etihad and doing all the tests and the kicking one under lights was pretty special,” he said.
Now the combine is completed, Williamson will focus on finishing his year 12 exams at Ballarat’s St Patrick’s College.
He said it was now just a waiting game until the draft in November.
"I can only take positives out of my combine results,” he said.
“There is not much I can really do now except just wait.
“Other than additional interviews with clubs over the next few weeks, I will just focus on exams and get prepared for them.
“Hopefully I do well in them and it all works out in case I do not get picked up in the draft.”
Williamson topped the testing leaderboard for agility.
He also posted top 10 efforts in the beep test, vertical leap tests and the three kilometre time trial at the combine.
