The Tigers suffered some disappointing losses in recent weeks while Jeparit-Rainbow has gone from strength to strength.
Tigers coach Matt Everett said his side had been feeling deflated.
“We’ve got a lot of injuries, which doesn’t help the cause, but our effort just has to be better,” he said.
“We have to hang tough early in the game.
“We need to be more accountable and confident.”
Kieran Fraser is sidelined for the remainder of the season and will undergo a shoulder reconstruction this week.
Josh Beddison, Matthew Ward, Shanan Baker and Matt Everett will all be missing from Saturday’s game.
Brayden Helyar is also out for Saturday’s game after suffering a concussion in round nine. Everett will look to Shaun Gilbert, Dylan Baker, Patrick Knott and Darcy O’Conner to lead in the absence of the injured players.
“It’ll be a good test for those guys,” he said.
