The pair scored 75 points in round one of the two-round competition, and they followed it up with another 75 last Saturday to claim the Deep Core Drilling spoils.
Col Prockter and Rod Sheppard combined to win the second round honours on 80 points from Max Waters and Daryl Clayton (78). Rob Blatchford and David Hooper (75) were third.
Winning the ladies stableford (draw for partners) event were Shirley Hetherington and Kaye Skinner, with a combined score of 72. Hetherington returned 43 and Skinner finished on 29 points. Nearest pin winners were Josh Kelly (6th hole), Joan MacPherson (9th), Dulcie Molan (13th) and Kaye Ellen (17th). Ben Martin scored on the second shot in third hole and Max Waters on the 18th.
Tomorrow is a two-man stableford multiplier event. The club can arrange pairs if needed. Pennant also starts next week, and coming up is medal of medallists event and Fabulous Febraury.
