The club has welcomed various informative guest speakers including Stawell Senior Sergeant Rob Weppner, Dr Norman Castle, Kerry Wilson from the Stawell Library and Sarah Warren from Stawell Regional Health.
Activities included a barbecue lunch, a social morning which included a quiz and more recently, a magnificent Christmas in July at Lake Fyans Caravan Park.
Several bus trips have also been undertaken by the club. The bus trips have included a trip to the Irish Festival in Koroit.
Possibly the highlight of the year, for those who were able to go, was the five day trip to the Murray Darling while based in Wentworth.
The trip was action-packed with visits to Gem shops, the Rotary Pioneer Museum, an historic jail, boat rides on both the Murray and the Darling Rivers, visits to an orchard, wineries, Loxton, Mildura and Berri. A very successful trip.
At the July meeting the club welcomed and inducted new member Pauline Shirrefs into the group.
