Great Western have had a slow start to the season, recording just one win, but their second win will be in their sights when they take on the winless Woorndoo Mortlake at home.
Coach Andrew Bach wants to see his team win and take some confidence from playing good football.
"I really want to have a win," Bach said.
"A win would put a bit of spirit back into the club. For the guys who have really committed, it would be great for them to win."
The Lions have been hit hard with injury in the opening four rounds, but are slowly starting to get some strength back in their lineup.
Defender Tom McCord could be a likely inclusion for tomorrow's game as he recovers from an hamstring strain and Rayne Salmon isn't too far away from returning from his ankle injury.
Gavin Slorach is another who could return, while Leroy O'Brien and Brenton Miller will make their way into the side. Last week's late inclusion Danny Grellett will also suit up again tomorrow.
Shaun North is unavailable due to work commitments and Luke Notting with miss one game due to suspension.
Notting received one week after flying the flag for teammate Sam Cocks after an off the ball incident in their loss to Lismore Derrinallum.
Bach is confident his improving team will be able to get the job done against Woorndoo Mortlake if they play at the same intensity as they did last week.
"We got smashed in that first quarter last week, but for the rest of the game we stuck with them," Bach said.
"We need to be smart and use the ball better if we want to win and that is what we play for.
"We used the space well last week and when we went forward quickly, we looked good. That's how we need to play tomorrow."
While Bach said the Lions will go in as neither underdogs or favourites, he is expecting Great Western to win.
"We can't rave about other teams yet because we haven't done anything ourselves," Bach said.
"We go into the match even, but if we don't win, I will be disappointed."
