Trailing by 112 runs at the conclusion of the first innings Chalambar were faced with a difficult day two challenge.
Chalambar were able to hold onto their wickets for a decent amount of time, however the runs were few and far between.
Left arm swing bowler, Jamie Bach was a good option for the Combine, as he held down one end and contained the batsmen.
Bach bowled 19 overs in tough conditions, managing nine maidens and finishing with the figures of 1/26.
Swifts/Great Western tried plenty of options to dismiss Chalambar and variety was the key, with seven wicket takers on the day.
Chalambar slowly chipped away at the deficit and an improved performance saw them taken an 11 run second innings lead.
It was never going to be enough to hold the Combine out, but it certainly was a better showing from the Chalambar batsmen.
Swifts Great Western took just four overs to run down the target and take maximum points from the match.
The Combine lost one wicket as they chased down the required 12 runs for victory.
Young Will Clough remained not out.
Aradale would have been a little uneasy with their second day start against Tatyoon, losing two quick wickets for just nine runs.
Already resuming at two down, Riley Taylor and Andrew Wood were dismissed early, adding to Aradale's problems as they sat at 4/33.
Wicket keeper Riley Wood joined opener Travis Horvatek at the crease and together, they regained some control.
With a partnership of 64 runs Aradale had got their innings back on track and could breathe a sigh of relief.
Horvatek eventually departed on 50, leaving Wood to pick up the slack.
Wood also made his way to a half century and went out not long after on 55 runs.
The lower order all made valuable contributions as Aradale made their way to 202 runs, to claim victory over the reigning premiers.
Tatyoon have had just one win for the season and look set to miss finals for the first time in many years.
Youth Club failed to chase down a respectable 176 run target set by Buangor.
After being 17 without loss and in prime position, it took no time for the Youth Club scorecard to take a turn for the worst.
Youth Club had several players who were able to make a solid start. However there was no player able to go on with it.
Jamie Solyom was the best of the Youth Club batsmen with 20 runs, closely followed by Pete Barnett with 19 and Matt Dawson 16.
Buangor bowlers were on target for the majority of their innings with six of their wickets coming from leg before wicket or clean bowled.
Ben Hargreaves was the best of the bowlers, claiming five wickets from his 11 overs.
Jack and Harry Ganley combined for 34 overs and five wickets to clean up the rest of the Youth Club batsmen.
Sean Mantel was unbeaten on 121 as Halls Gap lost to St Andrews in B grade.
